We invited all Colorado Researchers to display a poster during the “Special Poster Networking Session” at the 4th Annual 2014 Natural Gas Symposium, Denver, CO

Former Colorado Governor, Bill Ritter, now Director of the Center for the New Energy Economy at Colorado State University, invited faculty, staff and students involved in research in natural gas to the 4th annual 2014 Natural Gas Symposium.

Colorado researchers actively engaged in natural gas-related work were invited to a special poster networking reception at the 2014 Natural Gas Symposium. In the past four years that Colorado State University has hosted this symposium, networking opportunities like this have resulted in small to large grants for various applied research projects between faculty, industry and other organizations.

Posters conveyed research that is just starting, is underway, a special class project, an outreach activity or whatever the researcher wanted to present relevant to the natural gas industry. There was no cost to participate.

The networking reception showcased other researchers in the natural gas industry from Colorado-based institutions such as Colorado State University, Colorado School of Mines, CU Boulder and NREL. In addition, this networking reception included 2014 symposium sponsors, exhibitors, industry, environmental groups, participants and speakers.

Hosted by the Energy Institute at Colorado State University for the 4th year, the 2014 Natural Gas Symposium was held on September 24th and 25th at the Grand Hyatt in downtown Denver, Colorado. For the past four years, Colorado State University has built a reputation for hosting a balanced symposium discussing all sides of the natural gas issue while remaining an “honest broker” of information and education. Twelve sessions included 44 different speakers and were live streamed from www.naturalgas.colostate.edu
